A Spoon full of Sugar 76

The challenge this week is a "sketch", i have used an rectangle instead of a circle i hope that this is OK (i cant link to the sketch sorry)...

I have used "Baby's 1st Christmas" for both cards and coloured with markers, i have inked and distressed all the edges....

I have added glitter to the fur trims and the pom pom. and glaze to the holly and the berries....

I have added a snowflake instead of a star, and glittered it up and added a flat back pearl.....

I have added a bit of ribbon and tied a snowflake charm to it, and i couldn't decide which one i liked best so i did one on pink and one in blue.....

Victoria Case Challenge

The Victoria Case Challenge this week is a colour theme of "Forest Green, Cranberry and Ivory/Cream" perfect for Christmas....

I have used "Sledge Ride" and coloured with marker, i have added lots of glitter....

I have added 2 green flat back pearls the papers are Basic Grey what i found in my box and i love them....

I have added a ribbon and hung a snowflake charm from it, thank you for looking big hugs Pops x x x

All That Scraps Challenge

I was so sad that i missed out last week as i couldn't get to play with all the workmen here but we are almost sorted and i can play again, so this week over at "All that Scrap's Challenge" they would like to see something older, now this is one of the very first sets that i bought and made me want more :)

I have used "Junebug" and coloured her with markers, i have added flat back pearls to her hair and dress.....

I coloured her wings then decided that i would glitter them up....

I have added some flowers which i coloured with the same marker and added a centre and a sparkly brad through each one.....

The papers are scarp paper and i have added some buttons and a sentiment, thank you for looking big hugs Pops x x x

Meet Evie

The latest fairy over at "Digi Boutique" and she is so cute....

This one is "Evie" and she has been coloured with markers, i have used scraps of paper from my scrap box, added some flowers which have also been coloured with markers, a centre and some flat back pearls....

I have added some glitter glue to her wings and some pearls to her crown....

This one is "Evie and fairy dust" and i have coloured her with markers and added some glitter to her wings, the papers are from my scrap box....

I have added a flat back pearl to her flower and the top corners of the card.....

I can now get to all my craft things but cant do any crafting today, just typical but we are almost done now, and on a good note Teej has been accepted at a school so hopefully from Wednesday next week i will again be a lady of leisure, what will i do will all that extra time? i am hoping to come and visit you all later today i am missing blogging and blog hopping, so workmen permitting i will see you all very soon, thanks for looking big hugs Pops x x x x

Cupcake week 64 DT card...

Its week 64 already and we have a "sketch" for you to follow from Caryn....

I have used "KIMONO" and coloured her with markers

The papers are from my scrap box....

I have stamped a curl on her in dark brown and on the butterfly, i have added some liquid plastic to her eyes to make them stand out.....

I have found a space

To craft but cannot get to my papers so i am using paper from my scrap box, this time tomorrow i will be able to get to all my craft things i am so pleased, i have had a little play this afternoon and got 2 cards made....

First up is "CHLOE & SNOWBALL" who i have coloured with markers, i have used a simple layout and inked and distressed all the edges....

I have added some glitter and some white flower soft.....

I have added a bit of scrap ribbon and 2 snowflakes which i have also added some white flower soft too, next up is "PURE INNOCENCE 4" who has also been coloured with markers....

I have used the same layout as before and inked and distressed all the edges too.....

On her flowers i have added some small gems to make the sparkle.....

Again i have added some scrap ribbon and a butterfly, i am hoping to visit you all tonight now i can get in and out of my rooms, thank you for looking big hugs Pops x x x

CCC Chalenge 34

Creative Card Crew Challenge 34 is "SNOWFLAKES" a great challenge for this time of year....

I have used "Milly on Reindeer" and i have coloured her with markers....

I have added lots of glitter and inked and distressed all the edges....

As well as snowflakes on the paper there is some on the image and i have used some die cut ones that have been glittered up with a flat back pearl in them....

I have added a pink sparkle ribbon and tied a charm snowflake to this too, i have been missing my craft things but i have set up a small space of about 3 foot by 3 foot, here is the picture of my kitchen on Monday before they started work....

And this how how we have to stay until the men can come back sometime next week....

No cooking or washing places at all, its really hard trying to cook for 5 people with just a microwave and its Teej's birthday on Saturday and i will have to buy him a cake i cant wait for it all to be finished i am really impatient, thanks for looking hugs Pops x x x

VC Stamp Challenge

"Victoria Case Challenge" is the colours, Dark Brown, Red & Ivory, here is my card...

I have used "Sitting Fairy" and i have coloured her with markers....

I have added some glaze to her eyes and some glitter to her wings...

The papers were free with a magazine a few years ago and the ribbon is from stash....

I have inked and distressed all the edges, and added some flowers that i have coloured with markers, i have added a centre and a brad to each, i hope i am in time for this i have had no electric again all morning, thanks for looking hugs Pops x x x

Snowflake

I got this stamp last year and only used her once i have dug her out again to give her another go...

"Snowflake" is coloured using markers, not very good with reds, i have inked and distressed all the edges....

I have added some white highlights and glitter....

I have added a ticket sentiment, some snowflakes with flat backed pearls and the huge ribbon was recycled from a gift i got, thank you for looking hugs Pops x x x

All That Scraps first challenge

I was so impressed to find that "All that scraps" were going to hold challenges, i just adore the range that they have and for the first Challenge its a Tall card, i have never made a tall card before and didn't know just how big to go so i maybe went a bit to tall, i found it hard to take a pic lol....

I have used "Birgitta" in digi form, i have coloured her with markers and inked and distressed all the edges....

I have added a few white highlights and some glitter on her wings, the papers are MME...

This sentiment was from a little booklet i have had for ages i have inked and distressed this too, thank you for looking hugs Pops x x x x

Cupcake DT week 63

First i want to start by saying sorry i am so late with my card i have had no electric all morning, they shut it of to put a safety feature on it, they don't even start work until tomorrow then we will be 4 week without no kitchen and loads of mess but i am hoping it will be worth it, just a shame its so cold lol.....

I have used "James" (who is in stock now) who i just love as he has wings and a halo :) i have coloured him with markers and inked and distressed all edges....

I have spent all day emptying my kitchen ready for all the workmen coming to rip it all apart, so i have only had time to make a quick card :(

I have used the second Angel in the set of 3 from "All that scraps" and coloured her with markers, i have used MME papers again as they are lovely....

I have used "Angel Emma" in digi, i do think i have printed her a little bit to big as she is slightly faded, but i couldn't resist popping her on to a card....

I have coloured her with markers and inked and distressed all the edges, i have used some MME papers which i love to bits....

I have added a few swirls and some flat back pearls, snowflakes and a ticket sentiment, thank you for looking hugs Pops x x x

A couple of Christmas cards

These are not for a challenge just for me....

I have used "Snow Love" and coloured them with markers, i have been using up bits of scrap paper from my scrap box....

I have added glitter to the cuffs and washed over then with wet glitter to make them sparkle.....

I have used "Max & Snowman" and coloured him with markers, i have again used up scraps of paper from my scrap box.....

I have added some glitter glue and washed the snowman in wet glitter for a sparkle, is anyone else having problems with blogger today, this was supposed to have been posted last night, then i had to upload each photo separate and it wont spell check so sorry if there are lots of mistakes, thanks for looking big hugs Pops x x x x

The sketch at "The Sugar Bowl" this time has a must include Lace on your creation, here is my entry....

I have used "Honey's Snowman" and coloured her with markers, i have added some glitter glue....

I have used some wet glitter and washed over the snowman to make it sparkle, the papers are MME and are now my new favorites....

I have added some sparkly lace and a sentiment.....

I have used "Shaya" and coloured her with markers, i have inked and distressed all the edges....

I have added some glitter glue to her wings and the edges.....

I have added 3 flowers and coloured them with marker and added a centre and a sparky brad....

I have added some wet sukura glitter to the leaves and flowers and some liquid plastic to her eyes, lips and the little bug she is holding, thank you for looking hugs pops x x x x

This week at "Creative Inspirations" the challenge is Family, i love the challenges here and they have a fantastic prize up for grabs so make sure you go join in as they say you have to be in it to win it.....

I have use a "Sarah Kay" image and fallen in love with her she reminds me of happy times living with my Nan, and i have put lots of these on my Christmas list, i have coloured her with markers....

I have added some glitter to her fur trim and on the ground and i have added some liquid plastic to the trimming in her hat.....

I have used scrap paper from my box on this card and i have added some "MS Snowflakes" glittered them up and added a flat back "red pearl" to the centre.....

I have printed some sentiments out on to tickets from my "Designer Extreme CD" inked and distressed all edges, thank you for looking hugs Pops x x x x

Just Magnolia 27 Shades needed!!

The theme at "Just Magnolia" this week is bright and zingy!! well grab your shades because mine is extra bright, using my favorite colour of orange.....

I have used "Tilda with Bee" and coloured her with markers, i have cut her out and sat her on a bit of yellow ribbon....

I have added a few white highlights and glittered the wings on the bee, the papers are "Citrus Stack " and i have inked and distressed all the edges.....

I have added 2 flowers with a brad through the centre and i have glittered this up (sorry it is still wet) so that it sparkles.....

I have added some "swirls" and from my bow i have hung a "charm" and i have even remembered to take a picture of the inside today.....

A card and a cuddle...

I spent most of yesterday tidying up, i was looking for my windswept stamp i had and couldn't find it and i ended up sorting out all my kitchen and craft room and still didn't find it, i am thinking that maybe Brian has eaten another one.....

I have used a "Pixie Chick" and coloured her with markers, i have inked and distressed the edges....

I have glittered her wings up and added a sentiment.....

The papers are from my scrap box and i have added some flat back pearls, and below is the photo i took of Brian after he had been in trouble for stealing my stamps and eating them while i was out of the room, how sweet you just know he was forgiven in less than a minute and who could stay mad at him forever....

There is a gorgeous sketch to use this week at "Just Magnolia" i enjoyed this one....

I colored my gorgeous image with markers, i have cut her out and used foam pads to make her stand up....

I have inked and distressed all the edges and i have glittered the edge of the circle and her wings....

I have added some flat back pearls and a butterfly which i have stamped with swirls....

I have added some white flowers and coloured them with markers to match her t shirt, i have added a centre and some flat back pearls in a darker colour, thank you for looking hugs pops x x

A Spoon Full of Sugar 73

The weeks are just flying by over at "Spoon Full of Sugar" it is week 73 already, there is a great sketch to follow and i have made 2 cards for this, one Birthday and 1 Christmas as i have heaps of Christmas cards to get done sigh, remember last year when i said i would start early?? well i never....

I have used "Christmas Teddy" and think he is just so cute, i have coloured him with markers but need more practice with the browns.....

All the fur on the mitts boots and hat has been glitter glued to make it really sparkly, i have kept this one simple as it is for a younger boy, i have inked and distressed all the edges.....

I have added 2 snowflakes and covered them with glitter and stuck a flat back red pearl to the centre....

And a lovely sentiment which i have also glittered up, and as i still had a birthday card to do i used the same sketch.....

A "Miss Anya" coloured also with markers, no glitter on her though, the papers are bits from my scrap box....

I have distressed the edges and added a few white highlights.....

I have coloured my flowers to match the hair band and added some centres with a sparkly brad through each one, thank you for looking hugs Pops x x x x
